The virtue of doing sunnah prayers isn't only a cause for the aborting of sins, but also as a complement to the lack of fardhu prayers. Ustaz Muhammad Ajib Lc explained about the kinds of sunnah prayers in his book"33 Kinds of Sunnah Prayers".
From colorful sources of fiqh references, there are at least 33 that we should know. Of the 33 kinds of sunnah prayers, there are those whose laws are agreed upon by the scholars, some are not.
That is, there's a khilafiyah ( difference of opinion) among the scholars regarding whether it's admissible or not to apply it. Among the most important prayers (most afdhol) of these sunnah prayers is the night prayer (Tahajud).
Then are 33 Kinds of Sunnah Prayers
1. Rawatib

Divided into two situations, videlicet the sunnah prayermu'akkadah ( largely recommended) and the sunnah prayer ghairumu'akkadah.
